What is a full respray?

The great thing about car resprays is that they can be as big or small as you need them to be. If you only want scratch repair, we can spot fix that. But if you need a more serious renovation for your car paint job, our team have the expertise to get your vehicle looking brand spanking new.

Usually, the best way to respray a car is to strip the paint back to the metal, which lets you remove any old layers of paint, filler, dents, or rust from the car.

For a typical respray, you can expect:

STEP 1: We strip the car of any trims, paint, and mouldings, including door mirrors, handles, and lights.

STEP 2: We fix any damage, dents, or rust you might have.

STEP 3: We apply filler where it’s needed and sand it down.

STEP 4: We apply primer which sticks to the filler and lets us paint on top of it.

STEP 5: We apply a specialist type of paint in whatever finish you want.

STEP 6: We buff your new paint to get rid of any dirt, dust, and grime. This keeps your new paintwork looking fresh.

STEP 7: We polish the car until it gets a mirror-like shine.
